Candidiasis (candida) Symptoms and InformationWhat is Candidiasis? In the 21st Century the continuing Candida Related Complex or Candidiasis is essentially a series of undefined, and sometimes unrelated symptoms. Because of the difficulties around getting an accurate physiological diagnosis, Doctors typically believe it is all in the mind and frustratingly, patients will often get referred to a psychiatrist to treat their 'percieved' condition. Routine blood tests often do not show anything conclusive. Candidiasis can become very debilitating with just about any organ in the body becoming affected. The Candida infection can be localized and such as vaginal or oral thrush, or be much more deep seated and disseminated throughout the body tissues creating a plethora of symptoms many of which we have listed below. Widespread infections can arise when Candida gets into the bloodstream and spreads throughout the body. Whan the environment in the body changes due to stress, antibiotic overuse and a numnber of other factors, this can allow Candida to tranform into whats know as its hyphal phase, where it can then colonize the intestines and even penetrate the wall of the gut creating a condition know as 'leaky gut'. From there it is can enter the bloodstream where it can ultimately access any organ or system in the body. Candida thrives in anaerobic or low oxygen conditions so it will often find its way to the joints and the sinuses before proliferating into other parts of the body.

Spend time talking to your Doctor and try to get them to understand your condition and with time they should be able to offer you the right treatment. In the meantime, it is suggested that reducing your intake of sugars may be helpful, and also reducing any undue stress on the immune system. Try taking some gentle exercise if possible, even if its only walking for 30 minutes a few times a week, eat well and drink plenty of water. With some patience and determination, you should be able to get those candidiasis symptoms under control. More Information
